The Euro Show, hosted by the BMW Club of Saskatchewan, is an event where enthusiasts can proudly display their European automobiles, socialize with the European automobile (and European motorcycle) community, and where visitors can appreciate a rich variety of European cars from classic Porsches to the latest model Audi and VW sports cars, and occasionally exotics like Lamborghinis and Ferraris.
The Euro Show has been hosted by the BMW Club of Saskatchewan (formerly the BMW Club of Regina) for six years (the 2011 show will be our seventh annual). We have made a concerted effort to engage the European car community, and we have reached out to a number of different organizations around the Province and across western Canada to participate in our growing event. The success of our 2009 show (despite the weather) is a testament to European automobile enthusiasts across the Saskatchewan (and from outside of the Province as well).
More than just another car show, the Euro Show is also a community charity fund raising event. The 2009 Euro Show raised support for Hope’s Home of Regina. Hope’s Home is a non-profit charitable organization. Its mission is to offer community care to medically fragile children in a family, home-centered environment.
Besides being a charitable event, where European automobile enthusiasts can give back to the community, the annual Euro Show provides fun and entertainment for the whole family, including activities, food and beverages, and prize draws and awards. Even if you don’t own a European car or bike, the Euro Show is a great community event! There is something for everyone, especially for people interested in viewing a range of rare and exciting European cars and bikes, and for those interested in learning more about European brands and the automotive lifestyle in general.
Euro Show 2011 is currently in its early planning phase. If you’re interested in getting involved please contact Mark. Alternatively, you can join our forums to get involved with Euro Show 2011.
