A Big mac Gone wrong.

Postby Theblacke46BMW on Wed Jul 28, 2010 12:30 pm

So me and my buddy are driving around a few days ago around lunch time and thought we would stop at Mc donalds for a bite to eat. we Hop out of my car and go and enjoy or burgers and head on out. i put my hands in my pockets to find the keys for my car and they are no where to be found! But we have bigger problems. my friend points out that my car is gone. it is no where to be seen and certainly not where i last parked it. Luck would have it that both are phones are in the car so we cannot phone the police so we have to go inside and ask to use the phone. We talk to the police write out what little statments we could and left. The next morning at exactly 9 i get a phone call to my house. the first thing the officer ask me is. "you said both you and your friends phone where in the car right?" I said yes but what does that matter? Well luckly my phone as well as my friends has some kind of GPS tracking system on it and with the right program and as long as the phone as on you can tell where the phone is. Later that day i get a phone call saying that my car was Found! :o only a few blocks away from where i live. The police had drove up to this guys house just as he was getting into my car to drive away. How did he get my keys? well they had fallen out of my pocket and some one had found them and given them to the manager of the store and the person who took my car asked for if any one had lost keys and they gave them too him

lucky no damages to the 330i! I was amazed at how they found the car just with the cell phones being in the car. lesson learned always check your pockets before going inside some where!

Crazy! Glad you got the car back. I am surprised the manager would just hand over the keys without really looking into it. On the other hand it is McDonalds...
