MEETING MINUTES (April 24, 2011)

1.0 Call to order (Reg. Hodsman): 14:07

Treasurer’s report
Balance at present – $XXXXX.XX (unchanged)

Business arising from the minutes:
1.) Club Jackets – Mark will get one Small-Tall (already spoken for) and one large to keep in inventory.

2.) Driver Training – Yearly fee cheque has been given to CC (Garth H.)

3.) Site spamming issues : Update from Mark/Jon – will continue with the current procedure of having new members approved to avoid spam issues. Jon is working on automatic ES emailing list. Will continue to monitor and address problems as they arise with website and registration.

4.) Will receive update next meeting from Scott/Allan/Drew on: Calendar, RCMP Track, Invoices, Posters for three flags. Also inquire about cheque to Leg grounds for ES.

New Business:

1.) Driver Training & Dilarwi – Andy K. will distribute e-mail letting individuals know about our track days – Reg to talk to Andy about wording and info included. Also Dilarwi will provide small sponsorship of events. New registrants will meet at Dilarwi and be directed out to the track. Details to follow.

2.) RCC proposing to change their driver training school will now take place on July 16/17. Discussion held about the impact on the club and it was agreed it would be minimal if anything. Will let RCC and 3Flags know that the change is alright with us.

3.) The following track days are confirmed for 2011 – May 21, June 25, July 23 (ES), August 13. Reg to book August 27 as rain day for track and September 10th as proposed wind-up for the track season-will send e-mail to 3Flags.

4.) RCC proposed a Show and Shine with the BMW Club. BMW Club would participate only to help draw interest and help increase car-show spirit. Discussion held and the club would be interested in an event like this. Will let RCC know and inquire as to details.
