Track Days

BMW Club of Saskatchewan track days are regularly scheduled events where both owners (BMW owners or otherwise) and spectators can come together and share their mutual passion for spirited driving.

A typical day at the track consists of a parade drive from the city to the track, a number of sessions (or sets of laps) for each driver (or passenger) on the track, and then drinks and food at a restaurant in the city.

Track days are a great way to truly appreciate the performance of your car, while doing so in a safe and legal manner. The track is also a great place to learn from experienced drivers, who can offer valuable insights into the art of track driving.

Even if you don’t have a car to drive on the track (or you don’t want to drive your car on the track), our track days prove to be a great place to spectate, where the sights, sounds, and the smell of burning rubber excite the senses!

Although drivers might hope to improve their times (and often do so over the course of the season), the track days are meant to be about personal progress, improvement and most of all fun. As such, they are considered non-competitive events. Only one car at a time is allowed to drive on the track at a time, which ensures that everyone is as safe as possible.

For about $30 per session* (the cost of our insurance), a driver can enjoy his or her car at its limits, while doing so in the safety of a closed-course environment.

Contact Mark Stewart, VP of the BMW Club of Saskatchewan, for more information on our track day events. A complete schedule of events will be published soon.
